DATA PROTECTION POLICY

In accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998, CTS Recruitment Ltd ensure that all of their employees abide by the Act.

Whilst references regarding our temporary workers are requested in confidence and in accordance with regulations made under the Care Standards Act, in certain circumstances CTS are obliged to disclose information in order to comply with legislation.

All of our temporary workers consent to CTS supplying to any client to whom they have been to or whom they may be assigned to carry out temporary work for, any documents or details that may be held by the Company on their personnel file including but not limited to any application form, references, proof of ID, proof of eligibility to work, signed declaration of good health and any information that may be required to comply with National Minimum Standards.

DISCLOSURE POLICY

CTS Recruitment Limited is a registered body on the CRB Register (Feb 2002).

In compliance with the CARE STANDARDS ACT 2000, CTS Recruitment Limited will apply for Enhanced Disclosure on all Carers, Nurses and Industrial Workers in Hospitals, Nursing and Residential Homes.

CTS will receive written consent for Disclosure from all applicants.

All applicants for disclosure will recieve from CTS:-

  •  Guidance for Disclosure Applications
  •  CTS Policy and Statement on the recruitment of ex-offenders
  •  CTS Policy Statement on the secure storage, handling, retention and disposal of Disclosure and Disclosure Information

CTS will provide evidence, if requested, of Disclosure application and / or issuance by way of CRB Reference Number.

Consideration of Disclosure is only one aspect of the Recruitment Process.

CTS Recruitment Limited will adhere to CRB's recommended policy on the recruitment of ex-offenders.

CTS recognise that a number of applicants have had a substantial period of overseas residency. CTS will keep abreast of availability of overseas pre-employment vetting services.

From 26th July 2004, checking against POVA list is requested.

Portability is NOT applicable for and Enhanced Disclosure owing to POVA not being portable.
