CTS Nursecare are urgently seeking a Staff Nurse for our client based in Braintree, Essex. Principle accountabilities and activities to include: - To act in accordance with the NMC code of Professional Conduct if a Registered Nurse. To assess the individual physical, mental and social needs of residents and ensure that they receive the highest standards of personal care and attention. To establish good personal relationships with residents and families. To ensure accurate record keeping in relation to residents. Adhere to all policies, quality systems and to ensure compliance with statutory requirements i.e. the care services act 2000. To maintain and promote relationships with GP's, nursing and medical contacts in the local community. Management of staff rosters ensure cost effectiveness and statutory requirement are met. To undertake on call requirement. To participate in the recruitment of staff. To assist with marketing and promotion of the setting. Duty to whistle blow if witness bad practice or harm to a resident within the setting. Duty to notify management if NMC commences an investigation into practice. To undertake staff appraisals, identify training need to meet IIP. QUALIFICATIONS. First level registration - previous experience in management
