Saturday and Sunday 05.30hrs to 16.00hrs (both days) with 1-hour unpaid break

At CTS Recruitment we run internally a transport service for our own candidates to get to and from our client’s places of work. As a result, we are now looking to enhance our weekend transport service and have an exciting opportunity for a Weekend Transport Coordinator/Driver to join our team.

We are looking for a passionate and committed individual who can work Saturday’s and Sunday’s and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have previous experience of transport planning and sound geographical knowledge of Hertfordshire/East Essex however the successful candidate must hold a current UK driving licence which is mandatory requirement for this job role. Uniform provided.

The Role

As a Weekend Transport Co Ordinator/Driver with CTS Recruitment you’ll be responsible for.

  • Planning the companies transport movements for the morning, afternoon and evening on Sunday’s and Monday’s as well as allocating and confirming the drivers for the trips they will be doing.
  • On Saturday the transport will be planned, but the job role will involve managing the transport on Saturday and Sunday ensuring the smooth running with as little disruption as possible.
  • Thorough vehicle inspections to be carried out Saturday and Sunday morning.
  • First thing (0530) in the morning action any phone messages on the out of hours answer service.
  • Driving candidates to and from our client’s places of work in Herts/East Essex
  • Whilst in the office assisting with telephone enquiries and taking messages.

Person specification:

  • We are looking for a highly motivated, ambitious individual with excellent customer services skills.
  • You will need to have a private hire licence, which we organise and *pay for. (*Subject to terms and conditions). The licence is obtained with the local authority and includes an Enhanced DBS check, medical and knowledge test to be completed.

  • Salary – £10,868 pa negotiable
  • Annual Leave – 28 days pro rata
